What is Rowe Pest Control?

Rowe Pest Control is a Pest Control Service business; that is compliant and holds all appropriate licenses mandated according to the regulatory requirements of the US Federal Government, the Commonwealth of the State of Pennsylvania and local jurisdiction of it's registered primary place of business. The primary nature of business is pest control services.

Services include: extermination of general pests and insects such as ants, cockroaches, stink bugs; wood destroying insects; stinging insects; rodents; and preventative treatments.

What information does Rowe Pest Control collect about you?

When you interact with our Site, Software, and/or Services, we only collect information if it enables our business to better serve you - so very little.

Some of the information we collect could be used to identify you (“Personal Data”).

Some of the information we collect is stored in a manner that cannot be linked back to you (“Non-Personal Data”).

Some information that we collect you provide to us directly and indirectly through use of our Site, Software and/or Services; or is collected by the developers of the technology we use - and not by us directly.

Information you provide to us.

We collect Personal Data that you provide to us directly.

As an example, when you provide:

  • Contact Information. When using a form or to be added to our newsletter, you provide information which may include your name, email address or phone number.

  • Payment Information. When you voluntarily give or donate financially to our business in the form of a written check or bank transfer you provide certain types of financial or banking information such as a billing address, account and routing number, which is located on the check as is required to complete a financial transaction. This information is used to enable and fulfill your request. We may use this information to provide you with a statement for your tax records; and to maintain our bookkeeping.

Information collected by third parties.

We collect information regarding internet traffic to the Site, your use of our Services and/or Software for various purposes. Some of this information is stored by the technology developer or provider.

  • Analytics. Information collected is Non-Personal and may include your I.P. address, information about your relative or precise location, information about your device type, and the type of browser used. We collect this information as it enables us to optimize our presence in search results and provides insight as to how visitors use our Site. This information is stored by the technology provider and not on Rowe Pest Control servers. 

  • User Content. This consists of all documents, photos or images other content or information uploaded, entered, or otherwise transmitted by you in connection with the social media platform used, such as Facebook or Youtube as part of your use of the Site, Software and/or Services. This information is stored by the social media service and on your device depending on your settings. This information is never sent to Rowe Pest Control servers.

  • Payment Information. When you voluntarily give or donate financially to our business on the Site, you provide certain types of financial or banking information such as a credit card and additional information such as a billing address as this is required to complete a financial transaction on the Site. This information is used to enable and fulfill your request. We use a third party payment service provider otherwise known as a “Data Processor” to process your financial transactions on the Site.

We use Stripe® to facilitate and process transactions you request on our Site. When you enter your financial information, you provide your financial information directly to Stripe®. More information on the data collected by them can be found by visiting the Stripe® Privacy Policy Center website and will apply when using their service.

Information collected automatically.

Certain data about the devices you use to connect with Rowe Pest Control and your use of the Site, Software, and/or Services are automatically collected and stored by technology providers.

  • Security. We use software that provides us with notifications in the event that malicious activity is detected and monitors incoming traffic from blacklisted I.P. addresses. This data is collected from the users device and activity on the Site.

  • Location information. This is the geographic area where you use your computer and/or mobile devices, (IP) address or similar identifier when you interact with our Site, Software, and/or Services.

  • Logs. Non-Personal Information is automatically collected when you access or use our Site, Software, and/or Services. This data may include your IP address, browser type and settings, date and time of use, information about browser configuration, language preferences, and cookie data.

  • Usage information. We obtain Non-Personal Data about the Rowe Pest Control Site, Software, and/or the Services you use and how you use them. We may also obtain additional information from our third party technology providers to analyze how users use the Site, Software and/or Services. For example, this data helps us know how many users access a specific feature or page on the Site. We use this aggregated data to better understand and optimize the performance of the Site.

  • Device information. This is data from your computer or mobile device, such as the type of hardware and software you are using (for example, your operating system and browser type), as well as unique device identifiers for devices that are using Rowe Pest Control Software.

How does Rowe Pest Control store my personal Information?

We collect very little personal information about you. 

  • Personal Data we collect is sent to an alternate cold-storage (offline) drive where it remains inaccessible to the internet.

  • Non-Personal Data collected is stored securely by our third-party technology providers using an independent storage solution.

  • Our third-party technology providers collect information from you which is stored securely in an independent storage solution.

How does Rowe Pest Control protect my personal Information?

Personal information is only at-risk if:

  1. It’s available to a malicious actor.

  2. It can be found.

  3. The malicious actor can access it.

We've implemented additional security measures according to what’s considered

best practice in the cyber security industry.

We’ve removed the availability of your personal information– it’s offline.

Because it's offline– it can't be found.

We’ve limited who has permission to access the storage containing your personal information– even the knowledge of where it's stored.

Additionally, we perform routine backups to prevent data loss.

How does Rowe Pest Control use my Information?

We use, process, and store your Information as necessary to fulfill our services with you and for legitimate interests, including:

  • To help us provide and administer our Site, Software, and/or Services, authenticate users for security purposes, provide personalized user features and access, process transactions, conduct research, develop new features, and improve the features, algorithms, and usability of our Site, Software, and/or Services.

  • To communicate with you about your use of our Site, Software, and/or Services, software updates, new services, special offers about Rowe Pest Control, from which you can unsubscribe at any time, as well as respond to your requests for assistance or general inquiries.
